Vancouver born actor/director Matt Brown moved to Vernon in 2002 and has since made the Okanagan his home away. Matt started on stage at an early age and stuck to many dramatic activities growing up as well as some amateur film and television. He started his professional acting career when he was sixteen, joining a Shakespearean Theatre Company, and working for various companies afterward of many different directions.
Matt now splits his work between the Okanagan and Vancouver, still travelling to do auditions for film and television. His credits range from theatre companies to various independent film roles to music videos (both directed and acted). Brown started sharing his passion in the form of teaching when he was twenty and started his teaching program in Vernon in 2006.
He is the founder of Prodigy Productions, a company involved in many media facets as well as performance classes.
