Wil has taught art in schools and community settings for twenty years.  In that he has developed various programs that have explored how art can enhance both community and individual spaces. His passion is in exploring how art can be brought to public settings and exploring the spaces around us.

He has a Masters in Art Education from the University of Victoria and a B.Ed. from the University of Winnipeg.  He has worked with First Nations students for several years in Port Hardy, BC where he helped to develop programs that promoted a cultural presence and diversity.  He has also taught art for both junior and senior level high school in Canada and the U.K.

Wil has taught a wide variety of artwork and programs to youth that include:
Ceramic Mural design and installation
Glass Slumping
Tempera paint
Encaustic painting
Ink wash
Mobile
Metal work-copper plate & casting
Site specific installations
Digital photography and Photoshop
