The Vernon Community Arts Centre would not be complete without its volunteers. The staff at VCAC would like to acknowledge and extend their sincere thanks and gratitude to all those who donate their time, talent and skills to the Arts Centre. Every year, we hold a volunteer appreciation night with great food, even better company and lots of fun games and prizes.
If you’re interested in volunteering at the Arts Centre, we can accommodate you by offering flexibility in hours and tasks. Maybe you’re interested in:
• an hour a week to help organise our recycling
• once a month delivering the Link brochure and posters
• helping with special events, the set up or tear downs
• laundering the tablecloths after events
• assisting instructors with our youth summer art camps
• setting up and putting away after barrel fires and raku demos
• helping to maintain our studios
Have another idea? Let us know!
Maybe you have a trade and would be interested in volunteering your skills to benefit the Centre, like installing a sink! Or framing a cupboard! Or wiring a new light switch!
